Neck Pain
Having neck pain can be extremely painful and uncomfortable. You forget how important your neck health is until you begin having neck pain. Your neck, also called the cervical spine, supports the full weight of your head. The average weight of someone’s head is twelve pounds, making the neck very susceptible to pain. Neck pain can be caused by many things, including sitting for long periods of time, repetitive moments, automotive accidents, and even falling. Everyday wear and tear can also give you neck pain.

Back Pain
Chronic back pain is one of the biggest problems Americans face today and affects eight out of ten people at some point in their lives. Even though back pain is common, the level of severity varies. A variety of different conditions are responsible for discomfort in different regions of your back. These include sprained ligaments, strained muscles, trigger points, arthritis, ruptured disks, inflamed joints, sport injuries, and many more. We will locate the source and do everything we can to ease the uncomfortable pain you may be experiencing.

Shoulder Pain
Shoulder pain is very common and affects almost half of the U.S. population at some point in their lives. Although the causes may be different, many of the treatment options are similar. Like any other issue, the sooner that you receive the proper care, the quicker the pain will go away and the sooner you will be able to get back to your everyday routine. In many situations, if you leave the problem untreated for too long, it may worsen and become a chronic problem.

Hip Pain
Our hips are such an important part of our body. They ensure that we stand up straight, control the entire bottom half of us, and allow us to walk, run, kick, and play. In many cases, hip pain is simply caused by osteoarthritis, though it can also be a result of an injury. If you come into our office, our friendly and qualified staff will assist you in relieving your pain by getting to the root of the issue. Instead of covering up the problem, we want to ensure that the pain goes away and stays away.

Knee Pain
Most people experience some sort of knee pain during their lives. Whether you are growing or starting to age and get older, your knees do a lot for you every single day. Knee pain will definitely have a negative impact on your day-to-day functions, and that is why it is so important to try to address pain as soon as it begins. Our licensed chiropractor will find the perfect way for you to get rid of your pain. We will address the underlying issues that are causing your knee pain and come up with a game plan to relieve your pain for good.

Headaches
Chiropractic care can assist you if you are experiencing headaches. We will be able to perform spinal manipulation or adjustments that improve spinal function and alleviate the stress of your system. We can provide nutritional advice and recommend a change in your diet to address what may be causing your headaches. We are also able to offer advice on your posture, take you through exercises, and show you relaxation techniques. These will assist you in relieving the recurring joint irritation and tension in the muscles of your neck and upper back.

Whiplash Injury
Many people mistakenly categorize whiplash as a minor injury, but that’s far from the truth. Whiplash occurs when your body is traveling at a certain speed within the car and then comes to a slamming halt. The forces placed on your neck and spine cause it to whip back and forth rapidly, tearing muscles, ligaments and other bodily structures. The result is pain and inflammation, which may take a while to present themselves.

Migraine
Chiropractic treatment has helped so many people get rid of their migraines, even for good! Prior to treatment, our educated and compassionate chiropractor will also take you through a physical exam to ensure that there are no other reasons behind your pain. After this, we start by trying sensitive trigger points in your lower neck and upper back muscles. By stimulating these areas, the migraine symptoms will actually start to go away.

Myofascial Pain
Myofascial release is an intervention administered to various patients to alleviate pain or restrictive tissue problems. The release treatment usually involves the application of gentle or moderate pressure on the connective tissues and leads to relaxation and eventual elongation of the fascia therein. These restrictions are often caused by traumatic accidents or inflammations of the soft tissue.

TMJ
If you have TMJ, it probably started with pain and discomfort in your jaw joint and the muscles used to move your jaw. Pain and discomfort do not always signal a problem and usually go away on their own. However, if you are having headaches, trouble chewing, and pain in the face, jaw, and ear, you may be experiencing symptoms of TMJ. Some people complain about an uncomfortable bite. Some even feel dizzy or a pain in their neck.

Sacroiliac Joint Pain
For patients with lower back or buttock pain that stems from the sacroiliac joint, a variety of chiropractic procedures can be applied and are often considered the first line of treatment. The chiropractic treatment goal for sacroiliac joint pain is to utilize a method that is best tolerated by the patient and yields the best outcome. Patients respond better to different approaches, so the chiropractor may adopt various manipulations to treat the patient’s sacroiliac joint pain.

Scoliosis
An abnormal curvature greater than 10 degrees is considered scoliosis. Curves within the 20 to 40 degree range are considered moderate forms of scoliosis. These moderate forms should be monitored and therapies, such as chiropractic care and supportive bracing, can be used to increase function and diminish degeneration over time.

Chiropractic adjustments and therapies help to improve form (therefore, improving function), and induce mobility into the joints. These improvements can decrease pain, increase comfort and improve posture. Chiropractors can also address other symptoms or issues the patient may be experiencing, and help prevent further degradation of the spine.

Peripheral Joint Pain
Peripheral joint pain and injury is common. Small joints of the fingers and toes to larger joints such as the hip, knee, ankle, shoulder, elbow and wrist often are injured or develop incapacitating pain that can interfere with mobility and daily function. These can be investigated and a management plan, including image guided and other injections, can be undertaken to alleviate pain and help restore function.

Cervicogenic headache
Cervicogenic headache is a secondary headache, which means that it is caused by another illness or physical issue. In the case of cervicogenic headache, the cause is a disorder of the cervical spine and its component bone, disc and/or soft tissue elements.

Fibromyalgia
People with pain-related illnesses such as fibromyalgia often look for alternative treatments to find relief and rest. Chiropractic treatment can be used to treat pain at pressure points, in their back, neck, shoulders, and other joints, and from headaches and injuries. It may make you hurt less and help you move your neck and lower back.

Chiropractors use gentle pressure or stretching, multiple gentle movements of one area, or specific quick thrusts to help return bones (often in your spine) to a more normal position or to move as they should. These adjustments can help your body work better mechanically and help nerve signals travel more easily.
